Connect your DNS provider
Paste in an API token and you are connected to Cloudflare, cPanel, BIND, Route 53 or any of the other 18. If you would rather not connect anything, the two PowerDNS servers on your plan are ready to use straight away. Your existing DNS keeps answering queries the whole time.

Upload your logo, set your domain, pick your colours
Point a CNAME at portal.yourbrand.com and upload your logo. Set the colours to match the rest of your site, and the transactional emails your clients receive will come from your address too.

Invite your first client
Create their account, set a zone quota and send the invite. From that point they manage their own records in your portal instead of emailing you about them, and you carry on billing them however you already do.

How we calculated this
Each row prices the same workload two ways. The “elsewhere” column uses published list prices for a hosted zone, a health check, load-balanced hostnames and the add-ons each scenario names; the working is printed on the row itself so you can check it against your own bill.
Assumptions: standard hosted zones rather than reserved or committed-use pricing, health checks at the basic tier, and no enterprise or negotiated discount. Query charges are counted only where a scenario says so, since volume varies too much between resellers to average honestly. Taxes are excluded on both sides.
The PanelDNS column is the plan’s flat monthly price with no per-zone or per-record component, which is the whole point of the comparison: your side of the table stops moving as you add domains.

Common questions
Everything resellers ask us first.
Does it work with my existing cPanel / Plesk / DirectAdmin server?
Yes. PanelDNS talks to all 22 supported providers, cPanel WHM, Plesk and DirectAdmin among them. Your server stays exactly where it is. You will not need to migrate zones or change your nameservers to get started.
Can I use my own domain for the client portal?
Yes. Point a CNAME at our platform and your clients reach the portal at portal.yourdomain.com. Certificates are issued and renewed automatically through Let's Encrypt, so that is not something you will have to keep an eye on.
What happens if a client accidentally deletes a record?
Every change creates a snapshot, so you can roll a zone back to any previous state from its history panel. That works for a single record as well as the whole zone. If you would rather the mistake never happened, approval workflows on Starter and above hold changes for sign-off before they go live.
How long does setup actually take?
Most resellers have at least one client zone live within 10 minutes of signing up. Connecting a provider is a matter of pasting an API token, and the branding is a logo upload and a colour picker. Inviting the first client is the last thing you do.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No contract, month to month. If you cancel, your zones export as standard BIND files or in your provider's native format, so nothing is stranded here. The Free plan has no time limit on it either; keep it as long as it is useful.
